BEL Contracting was contracted by the BC Maritimes Employer’s Association (BCMEA) to construct their 4 acre training facility located on Mitchell Island.  This project involved subgrade preparation and the installation of an extensive storm drainage system, over 5,300 tons of asphalt, stone columns and foundations for a jib crane, and the relocation of office / classroom trailers.  BEL Contracting successfully completed grading to within the allowable tolerances required for the BCMEA to operate their 40,000lb high-boy forklift on the site.
