BEL Contracting has been contracted by Captains Cove Marina Ltd. (1978) to complete all site work related to the Marina Gardens development for more than 30 years.  The final phase of the development required BEL Contracting to rebuild a 1.3km section of dike along Deas and Green Sloughs, as well as the construction of a park along Deas Slough.  This project required extensive surface drainage control and siltation protection along the shorelines to prevent siltation of the sloughs and facilitate construction below the high water line on the slough side of the dike.  BEL Contracting successfully worked within strict fisheries guidelines and satisfied all other environmental management requirements of this project.
